Q1. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE?
Definitely depends on my mood, but it's a tie between Interstellar , Top Gun Maverick, Titanic and She's the Man.
Q2. What's your go-to COMFORT MEAL?
A spicy Howler Burger from YOMG with a side of chilli cheese fries. That or anything with nutella.
Q3. Favourite place in the whole world?
Queenstown, New Zealand has to be the best place on the planet. The minute you land amongst the mountains there, you just feel completely inspired by the beautiful surroundings. But if I can't be there, I'd be wherever my husband and dog are.
Q4. So, how much do you love photography really?
Between my husband and I, we have a cabinet containing over ten cameras, all the way from mirrorless cameras to Leica film cameras. We're a household obsessed with anything creative. Our current muse: our four year old fluffy cavoodle.

Kylie Iva Photography's journey began with a dynamic boat party in the Docklands. Completely throwing myself into the deep end, my eagerness to learn and adapt was unwavering (hope you caught the puns there...) This event marked the exciting start of it all.
After completing my bachelor degree, I went full time with photography. With a team of 10 photographers, KIP was shooting up to 15 different events a week, ranging from birthdays, to engagement parties, to galas, to business and corporate events. This foundation in fast paced events pushed me to constantly challenge myself creatively, and also has contributed so much to my ability to adapt quickly to any event or wedding situation.
Oh man, the nerves were high for this one! My first ever 12 hour wedding day was with in the Yarra Valley and despite feeling so nervous, everything went perfectly. This was also the year I got my iconic two camera strap and transitioned to mirrorless cameras.
In the events industry, we don't talk about 2020 / 2021 ... but let me just say, the minute Victoria opened up and weddings and events were back, there's barely been a moment of rest.
As nearly a decade has passed, my focus has shifted towards prioritising quality shoots over quantity events. This philosophy has naturally led me to wedding photography, where I can focus on crafting detailed, emotive, and beautifully captured memories for each of my couples. It's a fulfilling blend of art and storytelling and it's never lost on me that the photos I capture today are the one's enjoyed for generations to come.
